San Francisco-based Baselayer provides business identity, credit, fraud, and risk intelligence solutions for financial institutions, marketplaces, and lenders. Founded by Jonathan Awad, Timothy Hyde, and William Slessman in 2024, Baselayer has now raised a total of $82M in total equity funding and is backed by Afore Capital, M13, Matthew Thompson, Picus Capital, and Torch Capital.


BigHat Biosciences – $75.0M

San Mateo-based BigHat Biosciences develops antibody and protein therapeutics using machine learning, synthetic biology, and automated experimentation. Founded by Mark DePristo, Peyton Greenside, and Theresa Tribble in 2019, BigHat Biosciences has now raised a total of $174.3M in total equity funding and is backed by 8VC, Alexandria Venture Investments, Amgen Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Catalio Capital Management, DFJ Growth, Discovery Ventures, Eli Lilly, GRIDS Capital, Intermountain Ventures, LG Technology Ventures, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Premji Invest, Quadrille Capital, S32, and Sigmas Group.


Chamelio – $26.0M

New York-based Chamelio is the modern and intuitive way to negotiate, collaborate, monitor, and streamline your legal workflows. Founded by Alex Zilberman, Gal Lellouche, and Gil Banyas in 2024, Chamelio has now raised a total of $39.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Bright Pixel Capital, Emerge Ventures, Entrée Capital, and Work-Bench.

Confido – $55.0M

New York-based Confido provides an AI-enabled business platform for consumer packaged goods brands, bringing operations workflows into one system. Founded by Justin Hunter and Kara Holinski in 2022, Confido has now raised a total of $75M in total equity funding and is backed by Barrel Ventures, Footwork, Insight Partners, Trenches Capital, Watchfire Ventures, and Y Combinator.

New York-based Cyera is an AI-native data security platform that helps enterprises discover, classify, govern, and protect sensitive data. Founded by Haffiz Bachok, Tamar Bar-Ilan, Yonatan Itai, and Yotam Segev in 2021, Cyera has now raised a total of $2.7B in total equity funding and is backed by Evolution Equity Partners and Goldman Sachs Growth Equity.

Dextr AI – $6.7M

San Francisco-based Dextr AI provides AI workforce and automation solutions for hospitality businesses, supporting various property management companies. Founded by Sajid Shariff and Scott Arnold in 2025, Dextr AI has now raised a total of $6.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Elevation Capital and Foundation Capital.


Ema – $77.0M

Mountain View-based Ema is an artificial intelligence software company that develops AI agents for automating enterprise workflows. Founded by Souvik Sen and Surojit Chatterjee in 2023, Ema has now raised a total of $138M in total equity funding and is backed by Accel, Creaegis, Prosus Ventures, and S32.


Enveda – $311.0M

Boulder-based Enveda discovers medicines by studying the chemistry of nature and translating natural compounds into potential therapeutic candidates. Founded by Viswa Colluru in 2019, Enveda has now raised a total of $827.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Alderline Group, Baillie Gifford, Catalio Capital Management, Digitalis Ventures, Dimension Capital, Durable Capital Partners, FPV Ventures, ICONIQ Capital, Kinnevik, Lifeforce Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Lux Capital, Premji Invest, Surveyor Capital, T. Rowe Price, and True Ventures.


Firecrawl – $75.0M

San Francisco-based Firecrawl provides web data infrastructure that enables AI systems and developers to search, scrape, map, and interact with web pages. Founded by Caleb Peffer, Eric Ciarla, and Nicolas Camara in 2022, Firecrawl has now raised a total of $89.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Altos Ventures, Freestyle Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Offline Ventures, Smash Capital, and Y Combinator.


HIFI – $37.0M

New York-based HIFI is a financial technology company that provides infrastructure for moving money across stablecoins and traditional bank payment rails. Founded by Mohamed Afifi and Zach Walsh in 2022, HIFI has now raised a total of $45.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Left Lane Capital.

Washington-based Hydrosat leverages thermal satellite intelligence and AI to address critical global challenges in food, security, and natural resources. Founded by Jakob Van Zyl, Pieter Fossel, Royce Dalby, and Yunjin Kim in 2017, Hydrosat has now raised a total of $95.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Suma Capital.


Island – $400.0M

Dallas-based Island is a cybersecurity company that develops an enterprise browser for securing and managing digital work environments. Founded by Dan Amiga and Michael Fey in 2020, Island has now raised a total of $1.2B in total equity funding and is backed by Alta Park Capital, Coatue, Cyberstarts, Dmitri Alperovitch, Evolution Equity Partners, Georgian, G Squared, Insight Partners, J.P. Boulder-based Mesa Quantum is a quantum sensor manufacturing company that provides volume manufacturing of integrable chip-scale technology solutions. Founded by Sristy Agrawal and Wale Lawal in 2023, Mesa Quantum has now raised a total of $26.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Playground Global.


micro1 – $100.0M

Palo Alto-based micro1 offers an AI platform that converts human expertise into structured datasets and recruitment processes for companies. Founded by Ali Ansari in 2022, micro1 has now raised a total of $141.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Axis-Dageom AI Infrastructure New Technology, Cosmic Venture Partners, and Flybridge.


Mojave Energy Systems – $19.0M

Sunnyvale-based Mojave Energy Systems produces novel liquid desiccant systems for HVAC. Founded by Philip Farese in 2022, Mojave Energy Systems has now raised a total of $41M in total equity funding and is backed by At One Ventures, Cleo Capital, Fairtree Elevant Ventures, Fifth Wall, MetaRail, Myriad Venture Partners, River Bay Investments, and Starshot Capital.

Numeral – $100.0M

San Francisco-based Numeral is a tax compliance software company that helps businesses manage sales tax, VAT, and GST obligations. Founded by Jake Moffatt, Matt DuVall, and Sam Ross in 2022, Numeral has now raised a total of $157.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Benchmark, FundersClub, Geodesic Capital, Insight Partners, Mayfield Fund, Salesforce Ventures, Uncork Capital, and Y Combinator.


Precision Neuroscience – $250.0M

New York-based Precision Neuroscience develops brain-computer interfaces for people with paralysis. Founded by Benjamin Rapoport, Demetrios Papageorgiou, Mark Hettick, and Michael Mager in 2021, Precision Neuroscience has now raised a total of $405M in total equity funding and is backed by Ackman Oxman Institute, ARK Investment Management, B Capital, Duquesne Family Office, Hitachi Ventures, Invus, JSL Health Capital, Korea Investment Partners, Mirae Asset Capital, Mubadala Capital, and Pershing Square Inc.


Rainmaker – $100.0M

El Segundo-based Rainmaker develops cloud-seeding technology designed to increase precipitation and support water-resource management. Founded by Augustus Doricko in 2023, Rainmaker has now raised a total of $131.3M in total equity funding and is backed by DCVC, Dream Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, noa, and Upfront Ventures.


Snorkel AI – $350.0M

San Francisco-based Snorkel AI develops specialized training data, evaluation systems, benchmarks, and environments for AI models and agents. Founded by Alexander Ratner, Braden Hancock, Chris Re, Henry Ehrenberg, Manas Joglekar, Paroma Varma, and Vincent Sunn Chen in 2019, Snorkel AI has now raised a total of $585.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Addition, Allegis Capital, Blumberg Capital, Factory, Frontline Ventures, Google Ventures, Greylock, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, March Capital, Prosperity7 Ventures, S32, Standard, Third Point Ventures, Walden Catalyst, and Wells Fargo.
