Splice, the marketplace and community for musicians, has raised $52.4M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $55M and that there were fourteen investors in this close. Investors in previous rounds include Union Square Ventures, True Ventures, DFJ Growth, Flybridge, Lerer Hippeau, Liontree, Founders Circle Capital, and Matt Pincus. Founded by Matt Aimonetti and Steve Martocci (Blade and GroupMe) in 2013, Splice has now raised a total of $156.9M in reported equity funding.

The filing indicates that the total offering is for $3M, there were three investors in the close, and the transaction is structured as a convertible note. Kumospace was founded by Yang Mou and Brett Martin.
