BarkBox, the subscription startup for pet owners, will be going public via a SPAC through Norther Star Acquisition Corp, an entity formed by the group with controlling interest in the New Yor Islanders. The transaction gives BarkBox a $1.6B enterprise value. Founded in 2012 by Matt Meeker, Henrik Werdelin, and Carly Strife, BarkBox had raised a total of $81.7M in reported equity funding and expects to do $365M in revenue in FY2021.
