Vi, the AI-powered personal training solution that integrates proprietary headphones, has raised $20M in funding from investors that include Square Peg Capital, Triventures, Wellborn Ventures, Cerca Partners, Joy Ventures, FGI Capital Partners, and New Era Ventures. The company was founded by Omri Yoffe and Zvika Orron in 2011 and its total funding amount is $40.5M.
Fabric Technologies, the startup providing life insurance catered towards parents, has raised $10M in Series A funding from investors that include Bessemer Venture Partners, and RGAx.. Founded by Steven Surgnier and Adam Erlebacher in 2015, Fabric has now raised a total of $12.5M in reported funding.
GoKid, the app that helps parents arrange carpool solutions for their kids, has raised $1.5M in funding led by VilCap Investments. Founded by Stefanie Lemckein 2015, GoKid has now raised a total of $2M.
LoftSmart, the online apartment rental platform focused on students that was founded by Samuel Bernstein and Sundeep Kumar in 2015, has raised an additional $12.9M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates there were 19 parties that participated in the round. Investors in previous rounds for the company include AngelPad, Expansion Venture Capital, Tribeca Venture Partners, Corigin Ventures, MetaProp NYC, Jaffray Woodriff, Sterling.VC, Solon Mack Capital, Thomas Korte, Full Tilt Capital, Jeffrey Berman, Carine Magescas, Jonathan Ebinger, Adam Healey, and Brendan Richardson.
Dating app Hinge has been acquired by the Match Group, which owns and operates over 50 global relationship brands including Match, Tinder, OKCupid, and Plenty of Fish. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed but Match is acquiring a 51% stake in Hinge with the option to purchase the remaining shares over the course of the next year.

Personal finance platform SmartAsset has raised $28M in Series C funding from investors that include Fabrice Grinda, Javelin Venture Partners, Contour Venture Partners, Citi Ventures, TTV Capital, IA Capital Group, and Focus Financial Partners. Founded by Michael Carvin and Philip Camilleri in 2012, SmartAsset has now raised a total of $51.4M in funding over five funding rounds.
Audio fitness app Aaptiv has raised $22M in Series C funding from investors that include Insight Venture Partners, 14W, Amazon Alexa Fund, Millennium Technology Value Partners, Disney Accelerator, Warner Music Group, and NWS Holdings. Founded by Ethan Agarwal in 2015, Aaptiv has now raised a total of $52.1M in funding over five funding rounds. The post-money valuation for this round is $200M.

Video adtech platform Eyeview has taken in $11.6M in additional funding according to a recent SEC filing. Founded by Gal Barnea, Oren Harnevo, Tal Riesenfeld, and Yaniv Nizan in 2007, Eyeview has now raised a total of $68.5M in reported funding over seven founds. Investors in previous rounds include Lightspeed Venture Partners, Gemini Israel Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Marker, Nauta Capital, La Maison Compagnie d’Investissement, Qumra Capital, and Greenlet.
stensul, the email creation platform for marketers founded by Noah Dinkin, has raised $7M in Series A funding from investors that include First Round Capital, Uncork Capital, Lowercase Capital, Javelin Venture Partners, Arthur Ventures, and Scott McCorkl.
Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, one of the first NYC-based accelerators, has released details on its newest class, its 15th in its history.

Universe, the website builder designed to be used from mobile devices founded in 2014 by Joseph Cohen, has raised $4M in Series A funding from investors that include Y Combinator, General Catalyst, BoxGroup, Eniac Ventures, Paul Buchheit, Javelin Venture Partners, Louis Beryl, and Yuri Sagalov.
Whistle Sports, the sports-focused digital media network, has raised $28M in Series D funding with investment from investors that include Liberty Media, Emil Capital Partners, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Aser Media. Founded by Jeff Urban and John West in 2009, Whistle Sports has now raised a total of $97M over four funding rounds.

StreetCred, the startup providing accessible location data for various integrations, has raised $1M in Seed funding from investors that include Bowery Capital and Notation Capital. StreetCred was founded by Diana Shkolnikov and Randy Meech earlier this year
Gotham Greens the urban agriculture startups that designs, builds, and operates greenhouses for urban farming, has raised $29M in funding from investors that include Creadev and Silverman Group. Gotham Greens was founded by Viraj Puri in 2009.
Men’s fashion marketplace Grailed has raised $15M in Series A funding from investors that include Index Ventures, Thrive Capital, and Simon Ventures. Grailed was founded in 2013 and has now raised a total of ~$20M in funding.
PathSpot, the scanning system that detects pathogens that cause foodborne illness for food service businesses, has raised $2M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The company was founded by Dutch Waanders and Christine Schindler in 2017 and is a graduate of Techstars NYC. The filing indicates there were 15 participants in the round and lists TX Zhuo of Fika Ventures in LA as a Director.
WayBetter, the game developer focused on using gamification for fitness apps, has raised an additional $785K in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The company was founded by Jamie Rosen in 2011 and has now raised a total of $5.6M in funding. The startup’s properties include DietBet, StepBet, RunBet, and SweatBet.
