The Weekly Notable Startup Funding Report takes us on a trip across various ecosystems in the US, highlighting some of the notable funding activity in the various markets that we track. The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 2/17/24 featuring funding details for LeoLabs, Rasa, Antithesis, and eighteen other deals representing $1B in new funding that you need to know about.


Alembic – $14.0M

San Francisco-based Alembic is a MarTech startup that develops digital marketing tools and provides insights to help companies’ marketing teams. Founded by John Adams and Tomas Puig in 2018, Alembic has now raised a total of $24.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Liquid 2 Ventures, m]x[v Capital, and WndrCo.


Antithesis – $47.0M

Vienna-based Antithesis develops quality assurance software to facilitate autonomous software testing. Founded by Will Wilson in 2018, Antithesis has now raised a total of $47.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Amplify Partners, First In Ventures, Howard Lerman, Michael Walrath, and Tamarack Global.


Architect – $12.0M

New York-based Architect provides a secure and customizable trading infrastructure while interfacing with crypto custodians and self-hosted wallets. Founded by Brett Harrison in 2022, Architect has now raised a total of $17.0M in total equity funding and is backed by A.Capital Ventures, BlockTower Capital, CMT Digital Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, ParaFi Capital, SALT Fund, SVA, Third Kind Venture Capital, Tioga Capital, Twelve Below, and U.S. Trust.


Bugcrowd – $102.0M

San Francisco-based Bugcrowd is a cybersecurity company that operates as a platform for crowdsourced security testing. Founded by Casey Ellis, Chris Raethke, and Sergei Belokamen in 2012, Bugcrowd has now raised a total of $180.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Costanoa Ventures, General Catalyst, and Rally Ventures.


Camus Energy – $10.0M

San Francisco-based Camus provides a grid orchestration platform to help electric utilities operate and build a reliable, affordable, and zero-carbon grid. Founded by Astrid Atkinson, Cody Smith, and Michael Ryan in 2019, Camus Energy has now raised a total of $29.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Align Impact, Congruent Ventures, Groundswell Ventures, Remarkable Ventures, and Wave Capital.

San Jose-based CPacket Networks specializes in network visibility and performance monitoring solutions. Founded by Rony Kay in 2007, cPacket Networks has now raised a total of $90.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital.


Document Crunch – $9.0M

Miami-based Document Crunch is an AI platform for reviewing contracts and documents. Founded by Adam Handfinger, Adam Nadler, Jennifer Bush, and Joshua Levy in 2019, Document Crunch has now raised a total of $15.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Argonautic Ventures, Fifth Wall, Ironspring Ventures, Navitas Capital, and Zacua Ventures.


Hippo Harvest – $21.0M

Half Moon Bay-based Hippo Harvest develops an agriculture technology to help scale sustainable agriculture. Founded by Alexander Boenig, Eitan Eppstein, and Wim Meeussen in 2019, Hippo Harvest has now raised a total of $34.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Climate Pledge Fund, Collaborative Fund, Congruent Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, Hawthorne Food Ventures, and Standard Investments.


Kairos Aerospace – $52.0M

Sunnyvale-based Kairos Aerospace develops aerial monitoring technology to detect aerial methane leaks for the energy industry. Founded by Brian Jones and Steve Deiker in 2014, Kairos Aerospace has now raised a total of $100.7M in total equity funding and is backed by BlackRock, Climate Investment, DCVC, Energy Innovation Capital, and Hartree Partners.


Knock – $12.0M

Brooklyn-based Knock helps product and engineering teams send notifications to their customers. Founded by Chris Bell and Sam Seely in 2021, Knock has now raised a total of $18.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Afore Capital, Craft Ventures, and Preface Ventures.

Founded by Michael Balaban and Stephen Balaban in 2012, Lambda has now raised a total of $422.7M in total equity funding and is backed by 1517 Fund, B Capital, Bloomberg Beta, Crescent Cove Advisors, Gradient Ventures, Mercato Partners, SK Telecom, T. Rowe Price, and US Innovative Technology Fund.


LangChain – $25.0M

San Francisco-based LangChain enables developers to accelerate their LLM application workflows by overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Founded by Ankush Gola and Harrison Chase in 2022, LangChain has now raised a total of $35.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Sequoia Capital.


LeoLabs – $29.0M

Menlo Park-based LeoLabs is an aerospace company that supplies and provides low Earth orbit mapping and space situational awareness services. Founded by Daniel Ceperley, Edward T. Lu, John Buonocore, and Michael Nicolls in 2016, LeoLabs has now raised a total of $111.0M in total equity funding and is backed by AngelList, Dolby Family Ventures, Dylan Taylor, GP Bullhound, Insight Partners, MDSV Capital, Space Capital, and Velvet Sea Ventures.


Lilac Solutions – $145.0M

Oakland-based Lilac Solutions offers an ion exchange technology to address the challenges faced by lithium producers. Founded by Alexander Grant and David Snydacker in 2016, Lilac Solutions has now raised a total of $318.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Aventurine Partners, BMW i Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Engine Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, Mercuria, Mitsubishi Corporation, Presidio Ventures, T. Rowe Price, and The Nature Conservancy.


Meter – $35.0M

San Francisco-based Meter builds internet infrastructure tailored for businesses, delivering secure and easily accessible networks. Founded by Anil Varanasi and Sunil Varanasi in 2015, Meter has now raised a total of $85.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Diane Greene, John Bicket, Lachy Groom, Sam Altman, Sanjit Biswas, and Sequoia Capital.


Nucleus Security – $17.0M

Sarasota-based Nucleus Security provides a vulnerability management solution that enables organizations to manage their vulnerability information. Founded by Nicolas Fleming, Scott Kuffer, and Stephen Carter in 2018, Nucleus Security has now raised a total of $46.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Arthur Ventures, In-Q-Tel, and Lead Edge Capital.

Scribe – $25.0M

San Francisco-based Scribe lets users share how work is done, enabling anyone to automatically create step-by-step guides for any process. Founded by Aaron Podolny and Jennifer Smith in 2019, Scribe has now raised a total of $55.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Amplify Partners, New York Life Ventures, Redpoint, Tiger Global Management, and XYZ Venture Capital.


Skylo – $37.0M

Palo Alto-based Skylo is an NB IoT company that develops IoT devices intended to connect a variety of devices. Founded by Andrew Kalman, Andrew Nuttall, Parthsarathi Trivedi, and Tarun Gupta in 2016, Skylo has now raised a total of $153.0M in total equity funding and is backed by BMW i Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Intel Capital, Next47, Samsung Catalyst Fund, and Seraphim Space.


Thunderbirds – $5.5M

Orlando-based Thunderbirds is an augmented reality virtual reality mixed reality generative AI frameworks platform & services provider. Founded by JAY FU and MARK HU in 2021, Thunderbirds has now raised a total of $6.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Aura Investment and EST Global.


Vatom – $10.0M

Los Angeles-based Vatom enables both companies and individuals to easily engage directly with the emerging Web3. Founded by Eric Pulier and Michael Judd in 2019, Vatom has now raised a total of $10.3M in total equity funding and is backed by BAT VC, Galaxy Digital, GSV AirCO, Heart Media Group, and The Raine Group.
