The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 5/4/24 featuring funding details for Ansa, Altruist, Island, and fifteen other deals representing $1.2B in new funding that you need to know about.


Airstack – $4.0M

Miami Beach-based Airstack is an artificial intelligence-powered platform that allows on-chain data across projects and blockchains. Founded by Deepesh Kumar Nath, Ignas Peciura, Jason Goldberg, Sarvesh Jain, and Vysakh G Nair in 2022, Airstack has now raised a total of $11.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Allen Day, CSP DAO, Delta Blockchain Fund, Eddie Lou, Hashed Emergent, Kyber Ventures, Mask Network, NGC Ventures, Polymorphic Capital, Primal Capital, Redbeard Ventures, Resolute Ventures, SuperLayer, and Superscrypt.


Altruist – $169.0M

Culver City-based Altruist is a digital investment platform that offers commission-free trading and financial advice to individuals. Founded by Jason Wenk in 2018, Altruist has now raised a total of $449.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Adams Street Partners, Granite Capital Management, ICONIQ Growth, and Sound Ventures.


ARRIS – $34.0M

Berkeley-based ARRIS develops an additive molding technology for manufacturing 3D-aligned continuous fiber thermoplastic composite parts at scale. Founded by Erick Davidson, Ethan Escowitz, and Riley Reese in 2017, ARRIS has now raised a total of $216.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Alumni Ventures, Bosch Ventures, MVP Ventures, NEA, ST Engineering, Standard Industries, Taiwania Capital Management Corporation, Vertex Growth Fund, XN, Youngone, and Zebra Technologies.


beehiiv – $33.0M

New York-based beehiiv is an email newsletter platform enhancing audience engagement, growth, and monetization. Founded by Benjamin Hargett, Jacob Hurd, and Tyler Denk in 2021, beehiiv has now raised a total of $49.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, and Sapphire Sport.


Blackrock Neurotech – $200.0M

Salt Lake City-based Blackrock Neurotech is the platform for brain-computer interface (BCI) technology and manufacturing. Founded by Florian Solzbacher and Marcus Gerhardt in 2008, Blackrock Neurotech has now raised a total of $210.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Tether.


Ansa – $14.0M

San Francisco-based Ansa is a fintech infrastructure solution enabling merchants to launch branded customer wallets. Founded by Sophia Goldberg in 2022, Ansa has now raised a total of $19.4M in total equity funding and is backed by B37 Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, BoxGroup, Renegade Partners, Silvija Martincevic, and Wischoff Ventures.

Founded by Gregory Bell, Robin Sommer, Seth Hall, and Vern Paxson in 2013, Corelight has now raised a total of $309.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Accel, Cisco Investments, and CrowdStrike Falcon Fund.


Elisity – $37.0M

San Jose-based Elisity Cognitive Trust is a new security paradigm that combines Zero Trust Network Access and an AI-enabled Software Defined Perimeter. Founded by Burjiz Pithawala, Sridhar Vallepalli, Srinivas Sardar, and Sundher Narayan in 2018, Elisity has now raised a total of $70.5M in total equity funding and is backed by AllegisCyber, Atlantic Bridge, Insight Partners, and Two Bear Capital.


EnviroSpark – $50.0M

Crown-based EnviroSpark specializes in the design and installation of electric vehicle charging station solutions. Founded by Aaron Luque and Stephanie Bolan Luque in 2014, EnviroSpark has now raised a total of $65.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Basalt Infrastructure Partners.


Invent Analytics – $17.0M

Philadelphia-based Invent Analytics is a provider of AI-based inventory and pricing optimization solutions for retailers and FMCG companies. Founded by Gurhan Kok in 2013, Invent Analytics has now raised a total of $24.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Collective Spark, EBRD Venture Capital, and LFX Venture Partners.


Island – $175.0M

Dallas-based Island is a cybersecurity company that develops an enterprise browser to enhance security and productivity within corporate environments. Founded by Dan Amiga and Michael Fey in 2020, Island has now raised a total of $560.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Coatue and Sequoia Capital.


Oasis Security – $35.0M

New York-based Oasis is a non-human identity management platform that aims to give visibility and risk assessment. Founded by Amit Zimerman and Danny Brickman in 2022, Oasis Security has now raised a total of $75.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Accel, Cyberstarts, and Sequoia Capital.

Securitize – $47.0M

San Francisco-based Securitize enables digital securities, which are easier to own, simpler to manage, and faster to trade. Founded by Carlos Domingo, Jamie H. Finn, Shay Finkelstein, and Tal Elyashiv in 2017, Securitize has now raised a total of $147.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Aptos, BlackRock, Circle, Hamilton Lane, ParaFi Capital, Paxos, and Tradeweb.


StrongDM – $34.0M

Burlingame-based StrongDM is a platform that provides zero-trust access control to databases, servers, and applications. Founded by Elizabeth Zalman, Justin McCarthy, and Schuyler Brown in 2015, StrongDM has now raised a total of $100.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Anchor Capital GP, Cisco Investments, Frontline Ventures, Google Ventures, OneVentures, Sequoia Capital, Singtel Innov8, True Ventures, and Verdure Capital Management.


Traceable – $30.0M

San Francisco-based Traceable is an API security company that helps to mitigate risks and optimize the value derived from their APIs for customers. Founded by Jyoti Bansal and Sanjay Nagaraj in 2018, Traceable has now raised a total of $110.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Citi Ventures, Geodesic Capital, IVP, Sorenson Capital, and Unusual Ventures.


Transcarent – $126.0M

San Francisco-based Transcarent is a provider of a healthcare platform that facilitates improved outcomes and cost-effective decisions. Founded by Glen Tullman in 2020, Transcarent has now raised a total of $424.0M in total equity funding and is backed by 7wire Ventures, Ally Bridge Group, Alta Partners, General Catalyst, Geodesic Capital, Human Capital, Kinnevik, Leaps by Bayer, Memorial Hermann Health System, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, and Threshold.


Inhabitr – $27.0M

Milpitas-based Inhabitr is an AI powered end-to-end furnishing solution for commercial real estate. Founded by Ankur Agrawal and Pratiksha Agrawal in 2018, Inhabitr has now raised a total of $31.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Hamilton Ventures.


Teleskope – $5.0M

New York-based Teleskope provides data classification and redaction as a service, detecting personal, sensitive, and business-critical data elements. Founded by Elizabeth Nammour and Julie Trias in 2022, Teleskope has now raised a total of $7.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Essence VC, Lerer Hippeau, Plug and Play, and Primary Venture Partners.
