Founded by Levy and Andrew Weinreich in 2014, Indicative had only raised $2M in reported equity funding over a single round. Backers of the company include BDMI, Acadia Woods Partners, MDC Ventures, Rose Tech Ventures, Jonah Goodhart, Nils Johnson, Eduardo Vivas, Matthew Grodin, BFI, LLC., John Rigos, Brett Gough, David Reich, and John Rios-Zertuche. Levy and the entire Indicative team will join mParticle.
This marks the first acquisition for mParticle, which raised $150M in October. “Solving the challenges around data quality, governance, and connectivity have allowed our customers to build a strong foundation for delivering world-class digital experiences. This acquisition is about looking at where mParticle can help our customers create more leverage and accelerate their customer data strategy even further,” mParticle CEO Michael Katz said. “The acquisition of Indicative is a natural extension of our core offering, and should help teams seamlessly compress time to data value.”
