Simon Data, the customer data platform for marketers, has raised $30M in Series C funding from investors that include Polaris Partners, F-Prime Capital, and .406 Ventures. Founded by Frank Harris, Jason Davis, Joshua Neckes, and Matt Walker in 2014, Simon Data has now raised a total of $63.8M in reported equity funding. Last summer, we covered Simon Data’s Series B round.

Happify, the behavioral science platform, has raised $20.2M in additional funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $23.5M and that there twenty-seven investors in this close. Founded by Andy Parsons, Ofer Leidner, and Tomer Ben-Kiki in 2012, Happify had previously raised a total of $25.5M in reported equity funding.

Ai Cure, the visual data platform for healthcare that uses AI to understand and manage clinical progress, has raised $16.8M in venture funding according to a recent SEC filing. The total offering amount is $21.2M and there were twenty-five investors in this close. Confirmed investors in previous rounds include Pritzker Group Venture Capital, New Leaf Venture Partners, Baird Capital, Tribeca Venture Partners, and Biomatics Capital Partners. Founded by Adam Hanina and Laura Shafner in 2010, Ai Cure had previously raised a total of $27.3M in reported equity funding.

Cloud monitoring-as-a-service startup Datadog has filed its S-1 to go public. Founded by Alexis Le-Quoc (~8%) and Oliver Pomel (~14% ownership) in 2010, Datadog has raised a total of $147.9M in funding over six funding rounds, with its latest funding a $94.5M Series D round in 2016. Investors in the company include Index Ventures (~)20%, RRE Ventures, Meritech Capital Partners, IA Ventures, OpenView Venture Partners (~16%), ICONIQ Capital ($11.3%), Contour Venture Partners, Amplify Partners, Neu Venture Capital, NYC Seed, RTP Ventures (~8%), and Bob Pasker.
The company did close to $200M in revenue in 2018 and is on pace to exceed $300M in 2019 with over 8000 customers. The company is expecting to raise ~$100M in this offering.
