Resolute, the marketplace connecting institutions with corporate partners, has raised $3.3M in a Series A round of funding led by Revolution Ventures along with Steve Case and David Golden. This is the company’s first round of funding.
MongoDB, the online database solution founded by Kevin Ryan, Dwight Merriman, and Eliot Horowitz in 2007, has filed to go public. The company has raised a total of $303.4M over nine rounds. The company will trade on the Nasdaq under ticker symbol “MDB”.
According to its S1 filing, the company recorded revenues of $101.3M in revenue in FY16 with a reported loss of $86.7M. For the first half of FY17, the company has recorded revenue of $67.9M with a loss of $45.8M. Investors in MongoDB include Altimeter Capital, Dell Technologies Capital, EquityZen, Fidelity Investments, Flybridge Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs, In-Q-Tel, Intel Capital, New Enterprise Associates, Red Hat, Salesforce Ventures, Sequoia Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Union Square Ventures.
MealPal, the service providing affordable daily lunch options near work, has raised $20M in Series B funding from Menlo Ventures for only the company’s second round of funding. Their Series A round was raised in February and the company’s total funding is now up to $35M.
Capsule8, the company restructuring the security offering for Linux infrastructure, has raised $6M in Series A funding from ClearSky and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company has raised $8.5M over their 2 rounds of funding.
Citizen, an off shoot of Sp0n, the app providing instant notifications and live broadcasts of crimes and incidents, has raised $12M in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital for the company’s first round.
mParticle the omni-screen customer data platform, has raised $35M in Series C funding from Social Capita, Bain Capital Ventures and Harmony Partners. To date, the company has raised $72M over 5 rounds of funding.
Pymetrics, the company introducing brain games to the hiring process, has raised a Series B round of funding of $8M led by Jazz Venture Partners and joined in by BBG Ventures, Randstad Innovation Fund and Khosla Ventures.
Precision Health AI, the healthcare company applying AI to oncology data, has raised a $20M Series A round from SymphonyAI Group.
