Founded by Montaniel, Allison Page, and Kinesh Patel in 2011, SevenRooms had raised a total of $69.9M in equity funding and is backed by investors that include Comcast Ventures, Amazon’s Alexa Fund, PSG, Highgate Ventures, Temasek, and Union Square Hospitality Group. The company developed a platform that helps restaurants, hotels, and hospitality businesses deepen guest relationships, streamline operations, and drive revenue growth. SevenRooms currently serves more than 13,000 venues globally, including major clients such as Marriott International, MGM Resorts International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Wolfgang Puck, and Union Square Hospitality Group. SevenRooms will be integrated into DoorDash’s Commerce Platform as part of the acquisition, providing merchants with tools to grow in-store sales and boost profitability across all channels.

The acquisition is expected to close during the second half of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
