Bonobos, the e-commerce clothing brand founded in 2007 by Andy Dunn and Brian Spaly, has agreed to be acquired by Walmart for $310M, as the big box retailer is making a push into strengthening its e-commerce business to compete with the likes of Amazon.  Bonobos has raised $127.65M in funding, over 7 rounds, with investors that include Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Melo7 Tech Partners, and Forerunner Ventures.

The Drone Racing League, the company establishing the up and coming sport, has raised $20M in Series B funding from Lux Capital, Sky, and Liberty Media Corporation. The company has raised $32M to date.

Rokt, the company helping you find your audience, has raised $11M in Series B funding from Time Inc., Square Peg Capital, Lachlan Murdoch, and Moelis & Company. The company has raised $34M over their 4 rounds.

Sure, the on-demand insurance service, has raised $8M in Series A funding led by IA Capital Group with participation from Amtrust Ventures, Assurant, Nationwide Ventures, ff Venture Capital, and Menlo Ventures. This is the third round of funding for founder Wayne Slavin.

INTURN, the buyers and sellers of discount out of season clothing, has raised $22.5M in Series B funding led by B Capital Group and joined in by Eduardo Saverin. The company has raised $36M over 4 rounds.

HLTH, the company creating events for the future of healthcare, has raised $5M in a Venture round of funding from Healthcare Leaders, Influencers, LaunchCapital and Primary Venture Partners. This marks the company’s first round of funding.

Bowery Farms, the forward thinking farming company, has raised $20M in Series A funding led by General Catalyst and GGV Capital, with participation from First Round and GV. The company has raised $27.5M, all in 2017.

The Room Ring, the mobile roommate matching platform founded in 2014 by Josie Hubschman and Lia Wayman,  has been acquired by Roomi, the market place for shared housing. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.  This is the second acquisition by Roomi in the last year which has raised slightly shy of $6M in funding from investors that include Great Oaks Venture Capital, DCM Ventures, and Wasabi Ventures.

GeoQuant, the company fusing political science to help global investors, has raised $4M in Seed funding by XL Innovate and Aleph for the company’s first round of funding.

Loyyal, the loyalty and rewards platform, has raised an undisclosed amount in Series A funding led by Integrated Network Services in corroboration with Day One Investment, Hayaat Group, and UAE Exchange. This is the company’s second round of funding.
