Cookunity, the company enabling freelance chefs to cook and deliver meals, has raised $1M in Seed funding from investors Invariantes Fund, Stella Maris Partners, Howard Yeh, Alberto Gross, Jose Vargas, Rohit Dsouza and Matias de Tezanos. The company has raised $1.36M

 


We partnered with our friends at Coworkrs to present a look at the 20 largest rounds in NYC during 2016 – These NYC Startups Raised the 20 Largest Funding Rounds in 2016.

HeyMojo, the hotel and restaurant messaging app, has raised an undisclosed amount in an Angel round of funding. This is the company’s first round.

 


We took a  look at the the 10 largest funding rounds in New York during the month of December – These are the 10 NYC Startups That Raised the Most Amount of Capital in December.

Rent the Runway, the online fashion company, has raised $60M in Series E funding led by Fidelity Management and Research Company with participation from Advance Publications, Highland Capital Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, TCV.
