The 10 Largest NYC Startup Funding Rounds of 2016

This week, I take a look at the 10 companies that have raised the largest startup funding rounds in New York City this year using some data from our friends at Crunchbase (as of 7/1/16).   In addition to dollar amount, I have included industry, round, investors in the round, and total capital raised to further the analysis. Lastly, in order to maintain a focus on conventional tech startups, pharmaceutical and biotech companies were removed from the data as well as the recent real estate and banking financings.
