Why Not Create Presentations Easier

A good presentation can make or break a deal and can be the difference between catching that big break or staying right where you are. While most people may not care for their presentations, whatever they may be for, Shufflrr is making your presentation upkeep and display smarter and easier. With control across your enterprise and quick creation across platforms, Shufflrr is saving you a ton of time and possibly making you an untold amount of capital.

Today, we sit down with cofounder AlexAnndra Ontra to learn more about shuffler and gain an inside look at how the company is seeking to revolutionize the slide presentation.

Tell us about the product or service.

Shufflrr is the leading presentation management SaaS for enterprises.  It visualizes content, so that users can find, and reuse the file or slide they need, when they need it, making them more productive and efficient in their sales, marketing and training efforts.

How is it different?

Shufflrr treats presentations as an enterprise communications platform — a critical element of the marketing mix.  Companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars planning, implementing, and their advertising, website, social or event marketing campaigns.  But when it comes to presentations, they slap a logo on a template and let everyone fend for themselves.  Each presentation is treated as one-up event – one and done.  This is a wasted resource because presentations have so much valuable knowledge embedded within them, yet they lay dormant on a network drive, or someone’s email, somewhere. Shufflrr makes those files easily accessible to the rest of the staff – so they can use them, for their particular task.  Shufflrr transforms what were once dormant files, into active sales materials.

What market are you attacking and how big is it?

Shufflrr is defining Presentation Management, which overlaps with Sales Enablement, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Content Management, Digital Asset Management and Business Social.  We are focused on enterprise marketing organizations that sell BtB.

What is the business model?

On-demand SaaS.  Per user, per month, subscription model.

What inspired the business?

Clients. They had an unmet need in their business processes and workflow and Shufflrr filled that gap.

You recently added a new board member. Would you tell us about that please?

Linda McGuigan serves as a Board Advisor. She’s held leadership roles in sales and operations, at F-level enterprises including Pitney Bowes, Sprint and AT&T where she was the Chief of Staff.  She will help us market and sell Shufflrr, opening doors into large enterprises.

What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?

C-suite executives asking their staff, “What is our presentation management strategy?”

What is the one piece of startup advice that you never got?

It’s a tie between 2 pieces of advice.  1) Clients are your best investors and, 2) don’t run out of money.

If you could be put in touch with anyone in the New York community who would it be and why?

Michael Bloomberg.  He’s a visionary, while being a pragmatist and productive manager.

Why did you launch in New York?

New York City has unparalleled creative energy and a huge talent pool.  Plus, I was born here, and have no real desire to live anywhere else.

What’s your favorite restaurant in the city?

La Follia, a lovely, Italian wine bar and restaurant in my neighborhood.  Great wines, awesome food and their happy hour is a steal!
