The cognitive computing company, CustomerMatrix, has announced a Series B funding of $10.5M led by HSBC, with support from Aster Capital, Newfund and True Global Ventures. To date, the company has risen $19.5M
Leading NYC Fintech startups Moven and CommonBond announced a partnership this week where Moven customers who become CommonBond customers will receive a $200 credit to their Moven account and a 25 basis point discount on their loan payments when paying via the Moven platform.
David Klein, CEO & Co-Founder of CommonBond, said, “At CommonBond, we are dedicated to transforming the student lending experience for our customers through greater savings, tech-enabled simplicity and superior customer service. We’re proud to partner with Moven to further enable our joint customer base to simplify and improve their financial wellbeing by saving them over $14,000, on average, on their student loans.”
Authorea, the academic typewriter for your research paper, has raised $1.5M in a Seed round with funding from New York Angels, ff Venture Capital, Knight Foundation Enterprise Fund and Lux Capital. This is the second round for founders Alberto Pepe and Nathan Jenkins.
SprinkleBit, the social investing platform, has raised a $10M Venture from GTC. This is founder Alexander Wallin’s 7th round of funding, raising $13.7M.

The Cyber Security company, Fireglass, has raised a $20M Series A led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, NVP and SingTel Innov8, with support from Mickey Boodaei and Rakesh K. Loonkar.
panOpen, the WordPress for higher education, has raised a Venture of $4.5M led by Zen Group. Founder Brian Jacobs has raised $11.2M over 6 rounds.
Cadre, the more efficient real estate company, has raised $50M in their Series B round. Founder Ryan Williams has raised $68.3M over just 2 rounds of funding.
Vestorly, the leading content marketing firm, has raised $4.1M in a Series A round funded by Sigma Prime Ventures. Founders Justin Wisz and Ralph Pahlmeyer have now raised their 2nd round and $6.1M.
