The summer event lull is over.  It’s time to get back in gear and shake the rust off of your networking skills (just don’t wear white)…

Here’s our curated list of a few NYC startup events for this week.

On Tuesday evening join our friends at AlleyBoost as they bring together Brooke Eaton, Director, Digital Media at Brooklyn Nets, Jayne Bussman-Wise, Director, Digital Marketing at New York City Football Club and Kiril Savino, Founder & Chief Product Officer at Game Changer for an evening of discussions around launching a sportstech startup –  Alley Boost Sports Tech Panel at The Yard Lincoln Square.

On Wednesday afternoon, join SendGrid for an afternoon of user engagement, product innovations and email strategy best practices. Learn how some of the fast-growing companies tackle the ever-growing challenges of transactional and marketing email engagement – Email Matters at 404 NYC.

On Wednesday evening, Startup Grind New York is back with its monthly segment. This month, Scott Heiferman cofounder and CEO of Meetup is in the spotlight – Startup Grind New York City Hosts Scott Heiferman (Meetup) at Pivotal Labs.

Also on Wednesday evening, kick off Hispanic Heritage month with NY Latino Tech as they host their our first annual Startup Pitch Competition and a panel featuring investors fromQuotidian Ventures, Lunacap Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, & Thrive Capital – NY Latino Tech Startup Pitch Competition at Tumblr.

On Thursday morning, join Startup OneStop as they host breakfast with venture capitalist Adam Carver of MESA + – Breakfast with An Investor: Adam Carver, Mesa+ at Coworkrs.

On Sunday afternoon, join TOPMBA for the largest MBA event in North America featuring top business schools from around the globe and the wonderful opportunity to network with admissions directors and alumni members from well-known universities.
