Michael Patterson joined Alpha Prime Ventures in June 2013. The firm is fairly new, so their portfolio is light, but their focus lies within mobile technology. Patterson’s investments with Alpha Prime include Canary, a mobile security app; Dash, an app for vehicles; CoPromote, formerly known as Headliner, an app that promotes your social network posts; and Offerpop, an app that helps to simplify marketing campaigns through social media.
Patterson has also been a General Partner at Vedanta Capital since 2006. He also sits on the board of directors at Channelinsight.
Patterson received his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and has a BA in Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University.
