Monaeo, a SaaS platform that manages business travel compliance from a tax and payroll perspective, has been acquired by SF-based Topia. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “Topia’s track record of innovation, deep understanding of the enterprise mobility market, and a world-class management team made this an ideal opportunity for us to take Monaeo to the next level while continuing to deliver on our founding vision,” remarked Anupam Singhal, cofounder of Monaeo.

Founded in 2011 by Singhal and Nishant Mittal, Monaeo has raised a total of $1.8M in reported equity funding. The company participated in Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator in 2013 and was also backed by Jos White of Notion Capital. The entire Monaeo team will be joining Topia.
