Canoe Intelligence, the investment document management and data extraction platform, has raised $11.8M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $12.7M and that this close came from fifty-two investors. Canoe is led by Seth Brotman and was founded in 2017. The company emerged out of investment management firm Portage Partners and had previously raised $1.2M as a convertible note.
