A commercial real estate deal passes through a long chain of hands before a commission lands: a tenant search, a tour, a letter of intent, a landlord, a co-broke split, a payment schedule. Most brokers track that chain across texts, notes, inboxes and general-purpose CRMs built for software salespeople, so details slip and commissions get chased by hand. Leasync is a CRM built by brokers for brokers, on both the leasing and sales side, that links tenants and buyers, properties, landlords, deals and commissions in one system. Its built-in AI assistant, Lisa, builds a prioritized daily agenda from the whole account, summarizes emails and files the contact, and fills in a deal, including the commission and any co-broke split, from a dropped-in letter of intent. The product started inside a Manhattan boutique brokerage that still runs live deals on it every day. Today it serves hundreds of brokers at brokerages across the U.S., from solo brokers to full firms, with public pricing and new features shipped weekly based on what brokers ask for.
AlleyWatch sat down with Leasync cofounders Aaron Aziz and Mason Kalaty to learn more about the business, why they built it in New York, and where they plan to take Lisa and Leasync next.

Leasync is a CRM built for commercial real estate brokers, on both the leasing and sales side. It keeps tenants/buyers, properties, owners/investors, deals and commissions in one connected system.
You start the day by hitting sync, and Lisa, our built-in AI assistant, looks across your whole account and builds your agenda in order of priority. Your email lives inside Leasync, so Lisa can summarize a message and file the contact for you. Drag in an LOI and Lisa fills in the deal, including the commission and any co-broke split. From there you can send a branded tour book in a click, work a listing until it’s your exclusive, and track every commission until it’s paid. It covers everything a broker needs from the first lead to getting paid their commission.
What inspired the start of Leasync?
I started in commercial leasing as a teenager, and I’ve spent more than a decade doing commercial deals in Manhattan. I run my own brokerage, ARA. At one point I had so many tenants and deals going at once, spread across texts, notes and my head, that some days I honestly felt lost. I tried every CRM out there, and none of them spoke a broker’s language. I kept hoping someone would build the right tool. I never pictured it being me.
Then I teamed up with Mason Kalaty, who has spent eight years building software and founded the software firm, Uptick. I knew where the work gets messy, and Mason knew how to fix it. He wrote Leasync from the very first line of code, and my team at ARA runs real deals in it every day.
How is it different?
Most CRMs were built for sales teams in every industry, and brokers end up bending them to fit. Leasync was built by brokers for one industry. It already understands tenants, exclusives, LOIs, tour books, co-broke splits and commission schedules, so brokers don’t have to build their own system inside it before it’s useful.
Everything is also connected. A tenant links to the spaces they’ve toured, a space links to its landlord which linked to a deal which then links to the commission it creates. And because we only serve brokers, everyone who joins has a direct line to the founders. When one broker asks for something, every firm gets it, and we ship something new constantly.
What market does Leasync target and how big is it?
We serve commercial real estate brokers across the country, on the leasing and sales side, from solo brokers to full brokerages. We even have management and in-house leasing teams who are running commercial deals. We started where I work, in NYC commercial real estate, running a boutique brokerage, and it grew from there to brokers all over the country and brokerages of all different sizes.
What is the business model?
Leasync is a monthly subscription for each broker, and brokerages add seats for their team. Our pricing is posted on our website, so there’s no sales call and no guessing. We’ve grown organically and want this to become a comfortable place for brokers to grow their business organically as well.
How are you preparing for a potential economic slowdown?
We’re bootstrapped, with no outside money and a lean team, so we’re not burning cash toward a next round. We grow when brokers find it useful and tell other brokers.
The product is built for harder markets too. When deals slow down, keeping track of every lead, every follow-up and every dollar, you’re owed matters more, not less. That’s exactly what Leasync is for.
What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?
Keep growing our broker community outside New York, on both the leasing and sales side. Keep making the AI technology more innovative so Lisa is more useful, and a broker’s day to day is even smoother. And keep shipping something new every week, driven by what brokers ask us for.
What is the one piece of startup advice that you never got?
Don’t stop doing the job your customers do. I still work deals every day, and nearly every good idea in Leasync came from a real deal, a real tenant or a real commission I was chasing. If I’d stepped away from brokerage to build software, we would have built the wrong thing.
If you could be put in touch with anyone in the New York community who would it be and why?
The leadership at REBNY. They sit at the center of how New York’s commercial brokers work and learn. I’d love to hear what they see brokers struggling with today, and how the next generation of brokers can get organized from day one.
Why did you launch in New York?
It’s where I’ve spent my whole career, and it’s the toughest commercial real estate market there is. Every kind of deal happens here, from retail and restaurants to office and investment sales, and it all moves fast. If a tool holds up for a broker juggling dozens of deals in Manhattan, it will hold up anywhere.
What’s your favorite fall destination in and around the city?
I’m a simple guy and love the classic central park walk around. I head there with my wife on a weekly basis, and we just live for it! Fall is the best season, hands down!
