The latest venture capital, seed, pre-seed, and angel deals for NYC startups for 9/27/2023 featuring funding details for Gem, Boisson, and much more. This page will be updated throughout the day to reflect any new fundings.


Gem – $23M

Gem, a cloud detection and response platform, has raised $23M in Series A funding from investors that include GGV Capital, IBM Ventures, Silicon Valley CISO Investments, and Team8. Founded by Ofir Brukner, Ron Konigsberg, and Arie Zilberstein in 2019, Gem has now raised a total of $34M in reported equity funding.


Boisson – $5M

Boisson, a non-alcoholic beverage retailer, has raised $5M in venture funding from investors that include Convivialite Ventures and Connect Ventures. Founded by Barrie Arnold and Nicholas Bodkins in 2021, Boisson has now raised a total of $34.6M in reported equity funding.


Atomic’s new PayLink suite is a set of financial tools that enable consumers to connect merchant accounts, streaming services, and recurring bills to their financial institution’s app seamlessly updating their payment methods on file and enabling a one-stop hub for reviewing upcoming expenses. By streamlining the account-switching experience, Paylink makes it easier to switch primary relationships, aligning with the CFPB’s open banking vision.

Avantis Labs – $4M

Avantis Labs, a decentralized trading platform for perpetual futures, has raised $4M in Seed funding from investors that include Founders Fund, Pantera Capital, Modular Capital, Base Ecosystem Fund, and Galaxy. Avantis Labs was founded by Harsehaj Singh in 2023.


Evvy – $14M

Evvy, a biomarker discovery platform for women’s health, has raised $14M in Series A funding from investors that include General Catalyst, Left Lane Capital, G9 Ventures, Amboy Street Ventures, Virtue, LabCorp Venture Fund, Ingeborg Investments, and RH Capital. Founded by Priyanka Jain, Laine Bruzek, and Pita Navarro in , Evvy has now raised a total of $19M in reported equity funding.
