As the nomenclature of startup funds rounds has evolved in this period represented (January 2018-April 2023), we’ve used the following classifications:
- Early-stage: Pre-Seed, Seed, Angel, unspecified rounds less than $4M.
- Series A: All rounds denoted as Series A and unspecified rounds between $4M-$13M
- Series B: All rounds denoted as Series B and unspecified rounds between $13M-$25M
- Late Stage: All rounds denoted as Series C, D, E, etc and unspecified rounds greater than $25M
