SeamlessDocs, the provider of digital software solutions for government agencies, has been acquired by Dallas-based Kofile. Kofile, itself, was acquired by Audax Private Equity earlier this year in February. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “Today, we bring together two teams with incredible knowledge of the local government space and a real passion for delivering transformative work in collaborative ways. Government is often criticized for being behind the times when it comes to offering digital solutions. At Kofile, we imagine a future where government can set the standards, not play catch-up to them,” remarked Jonathon Ende, Cofounder and CEO of Seamless Docs.

Founded in 2011 by Ende and Chachi Camejo, Seamless Docs initially launched as Bizodo and had raised a total of $19.2M in reported equity funding with the last funding in 2018 led by Motorola Solutions and SJF Ventures.  Other investors in the company include Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, 1776 Ventures, Govtech Fund, Kernel Capital, and The CAPROCK Group.

We’re proud to be the only provider that can deliver on both of those needs for our customers who work tirelessly to serve their constituents. We couldn’t be more excited about the acquisition of SeamlessDocs and new value we can bring to local government as their partners in service,” said Michael Crosno, CEO of Kofile.
