CitiXsys helps the retail and hospitality industries optimize business operations, specifically customer engagement and retail trends. Founded by Kamal Karmakar in 2002, this sixteen-year-old company raised $20M in Series B funding from investors that include Havaianas, The AI Muhaidib Group, Circle K Corporation, Crabtree & Evelyn, Samsonite, ASICS Ventures Corporation, Virgin Mobile USA, and Houstanoic Partners. This is the second funding for CitiXsys and it has now raised a total of $45M.

Other participants in this round included Robert Smith and Brian Sheth of Vista Equity, as well as WGI Group. This NYC startup was founded by Daniel Nadler and Edward Norton.

According to a recent SEC filing, SevenRooms has raised an additional $5.1M in funding. The filing indicates that there were 11 participants in the round and the total offering amount is $7M. SevenRooms was founded by Allison Page, Joel Montaniel, and Kinesh Patel in 2011 and has now raised a total of $21.5M in reported funding.

Kinetic, the startup focused on workplace safety through wearables, has raised $4.5M in funding led by Primary Venture Partners and Crosslink Capital. While this round was announced via a press release today, we covered it back in June. Founded by Aditya Bansal and Haytham Elhawary in 2014, Kinetic has now raised a total of $6.2M in funding.

According to a recent SEC filing, SpotFront, the automated marketing platform for e-commerce merchants, has raised an additional $3.4M in funding. Founded by Alex Founded by Sherman and Peter Schwartz in 2012, Fetcher has now raised a total of $6.5M in total funding over two rounds. The filing lists Dominic Endicott of Nauta Capital as a Director and indicates that there were nine participants in the round, which has a total offering amount of $4M.

Titan, the retail investment platform that uses algorithmic trading to replicate hedge fund strategies, has raised $2.5M in Seed funding from investors that include Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Maverick Ventures, and Liquid 2 Ventures. The company launched earlier this year out of Y Combinator and is founded by Clayton Gardner, Joe Percoco, and Max Bernardy.

According to a recent SEC filing, fuel delivery service Gas It Up which delivers to cars Brooklyn and Queens presently, has raised $250K in a SAFE note financing. The total offering is for $5M and four investors participated in this initial close. The filing lists Gregory Wilder, Victor Rodriguez, and Kimberly Rashmi Prabhu as Executives and Directors and Prisco Panza, Stephen Olyha, and Dennis Cagan as Directors.
