WhiteSource, the cybersecurity platform focused on securing applications built using open source components, has raised $35M in Series C funding from investors that include 83North and Susquehanna Growth Equity. Founded by Azi Cohen, Rami Sass, Ron Rymon, and Roni Einavi in 2011, WhiteSource has now raised a total of $46M in funding over three rounds.

Direct-to-consumer healthcare brand Thirty Madison, which operates Keeps, a treatment for men suffering from baldness, and a soon to be launched treatment solution for migraine sufferers called Cove, has raised $15.25M in funding.

According to a recent SEC filing, TG-17, a Machine learning and AI-focused startup operating with this codename until launch, has raised $34.7M in funding. The filing lists Doron Kempel and an Executive and Director as well Erel Margalit and Todor Tashev of Omidyar Technology Ventures as Directors. The filing also indicates that the total offering amount is for $41.7M and there have been 19 investors in this first close.

According to a recent SEC filing, early-stage venture fund IA Ventures has filed a $160M offering for its fourth fund. There has not yet been a closing for this fund. Fund III was also a $160M fund, which closed in 2015.
IA Ventures was founded in 2009 by Brad Gillespie and Roger Ehrenberg and has made over 100+ investments. Portfolio companies include MemSQL, TransferWise, Hometeam, Datadog x,ai, and Kinsa. Successful exits include Flatiron Health, The Trade Desk, BillGuard, Next Big Sound, and DataPop.

Home security hardware provider Canary has raised $25M in investment from Dublin-based strategic investor Smartfrog. With this round, Smartfrog now has a controlling stake in Canary, which was founded by Adam Sager, Chris Rill, and Jon Troutman in 2012. Smartfrog had not previously invested in the company. Canary had raised a total of $66.2M and will continue to operate under its own brand, for now.

CitiXSys, the provider of omnichannel retail management software, has raised $20M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. This is the first reported round of funding for CitiXsys which was founded by Kamal Karmakar in 2002. Mark Hilderbrand of Housatonic Partners and Nicolas Massard of Abry Partners are listed as Directors in the filing. The filing also indicates that there were three investors in the round.
