So you turn 50 this year, right? Or you just turned 50. It’s so interesting to me that people can’t project or understand where the market’s moving, aka, in this scenario that “we,” as 40–50–60 year-olds are going to live dramatically longer and healthier than your parents’ and grandparents’ generation.
So you sit here at 50, and you start questioning, “where am I in my life? Middle? Tail-end to middle?” …
So many of your entrepreneurial and life ambitions start to dwindle… You start losing hope and you give up. You start settling into your life and thinking “this is how it played out.”
I “could have” .. “I should have” .. “I didn’t” ..
I just never want you to get to a point where you say “I wish, I wish, I wish”
What I hope to accomplish with this one little piece of content is to inspire one 49, 50, or 51-year-old to understand, psst…
It is super appropriate for you to start that business that you’ve always wanted to right now. It is actually quite practical. You probably have a much deeper understanding of what to do to be successful than the average 25-year-old that’s rolling into my office looking for dollars to start their business because they’ve got an “idea.”
If I can just take the energy in my heart and deploy it into people’s brains to understand how much time you still have left in your life to do your thing.. That’s what I want to do.
That would make me very happy because I do believe way too many people are starting to plot their exit, or their unwind, or their finish.
And I’m like, shit, you may have 50 years left! With modern medicine you may have 50 more good years of executing! 40 for sure 😉
I really think, knock on wood, so many of you reading this might have 40 full, big years. Think back to when you were 10. From that moment until right now. You have all that life on the backend and people are trying to wind down and figure out how they’re going to slow it down or wrap it up. Fuck wrapping it up. Start it up! You’re just 50!
Please share with someone who needs to see this..
Your aunt, uncle, mother, father, brother, sister, grandparent, cousin, etc !
Remind them of their youth. They’re just getting started!
