Homer Logistics, the high volume local delivery company, has raised $8.5M in Series A funding led by Two Sigma Ventures with participation from Laconia Capital Group, RSE Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. The company has raised $10.5M in 3 rounds.
Meal kit subscription service startup, Blue Apron went public on the New York Stock Exchange, raising an additional $300M in its initial public offering. The company now trades under the ticket “APRN”. Initially the company’s bookrunners had priced the company at $15-$17 a share for the offering but then paired back on that and the shares were reduced to $10 at the opening. The company is currently trading at a $1.8B market cap.
Blue Apron founded in 2012, originally named Petridish Media, by Ilia Papas, Matt Salzberg, Matthew Wadiak had raised $193.8M across 5 rounds from investors that include Bessemer Venture Partners, Fidelity Investments, Stripes Group, Box Group, and First Round Capital prior to its IPO.
Feather, the modern furniture rental startup, has raised $120K in Seed funding from Y Combinator. This is founder Jay Lemo’s first round of funding.
Flip, the peer to peer leasing marketplace, has raised $2.2M in Seed funding led by Union Square Ventures with participation from Collaborative Fund and Techstars Ventures. The company has raised $3.4M over 2 rounds.
Stayawhile, the set of furnished apartments allowing guests to move between cities, has raised $1.5M in Seed funding led by New Enterprise Associates and joined in by Founders Fund and Global Founders Capital. This is the company’s first round of funding.
Octopus Software, the mobile solution for home security, has raised $5.25M in a Venture round of funding led by AWZ ventures and joined in by Tencent Holdings, Renren Lianhe Holdings and Singulariteam. The company has raised $7.75M over 2 rounds of funding.
Clark, the virtual assistant for independent educators, has raised $2.5M in Seed funding from Winklevoss Capital, Flat World Partners, Rethink Education and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The company has now raised $3.5M over 3 rounds.
Harver, the company that is changing pre-hire talent assessments, has raised $8.1M in Series A funding from Insight Venture Partners. The company has raised $9.82M over their 2 rounds.
AUrate, the direct to consumer jewelry company has raised $2.62M in a Venture round of funding from Victress Capital and Arab Angel Fund for the company’s first round of funding.
IntellectEU, the fintech integration company operating internationally, has raised $2.88M in a Venture round of funding from undisclosed investors. This marks the company’s first round of funding.
