Yuzu, the company reinventing customer acquisition, has raised $1M in Seed funding from undisclosed investors. This marks the second round of funding for the company.
RavenPack, the financial news providers, have raised a $5M Venture round of funding from Draper Esprit for their first round of funding.
Dig Inn, the restaurant chain that is focused on mindfully sourced ingredients, has raised $30M in Series D led by Avalt in corroboration with Bill Allen and Monogram Capital Partners. The chain has raised $51.5M over 4 rounds of funding.
New York Shipping Exchange, the smart container shipping industry, has raised $8.5M in Series A funding led by GE Ventures and Goldman Sachs, with participation from FoundersGuild, Tectonic Capital, Tecton Capital Partners LLC, and Blumberg Capital. This is the company’s first round of funding.
Clarity Money, the financial health app, has raised $11M in Series B funding from Citi Ventures and RRE Ventures. The company has raised $14.5M over the company’s 2 rounds.
Masionette, the ecommerce children’s clothing site, has raised $2.7M in Seed funding from New Enterprise Associates and Thrive Partners. This is the company’s first round of funding.
WayUp, the job marketplace catered towards students has raised an $18.5M Series B round led by Trinity Ventures. Other investors in the round include Index Ventures, SV Angel, Axel Springer, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, CAA Ventures, Female Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and BoxGroup. Founded by Liz Wessel and JJ Fliegelman, WayUp has now raised $27.47M over 4 rounds.
Universe, the mobile app that allows users to create website from their mobile phones, has raised a $3.2M round led by BoxGroup. Also participating in the round were Greylock Partners, Founder Collective, Collaborative Fund, General Catalyst, and Eniac Ventures.
Aetion, the healthcare company focused on value-based healthcare has raised a $11.2M Series A round led by Flare Capital Partners and Lakestar.
Bayshore Networks, the cyber security startup focused on the IoT space, has raised $4.4M Series A round led by Samsung NEXT Ventures. Also participating in the round were Trident Capital Cybersecurity and Benhamou Global Ventures. Founded by Vivek Patel and Francis Cianfrocca in 2012, Bayshore Networks has raised a total of $11.4M over 3 rounds.
