LingoLive, the company teaching English to American workers, has raised $5.2M in Series A funding led by Owl Ventures with participation from Fresco Capital, Alpine Meridian Ventures and Entrepreneurs Fund. Founders Tyler Muse and Alex Au have raised $6.43M to date.
Kasisto, the conversational AI platform, has raised $9.2M in Series A funding led by Propel Venture Partners with corroboration from Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater NY, New York Angels, Partnership Fund for New York City, DBS Bank, Two Sigma Ventures and Commerce Ventures. The company has raised $11.45M over 2 rounds.
Bontact, the communication tool for customers to engage with brands, has raised an undisclosed amount from Keyrus Innovation Factory in a Seed round for the company’s third round total.
Letgo, the popular mobile marketplace, has raised $175M in Series C funding from FJ Labs, Mangrove Capital Partners, Eight Roads Ventures, 14W, New Enterprise Associates, Insight Venture Partners, Accel Partners and Naspers. The company has raised $375M over just 3 rounds.
OrderGroove, the SaaS subscription service, has raised $20M in Series C funding from National Securities Corporation. The company has raised $30M over 4 rounds.
Starburst Labs, the company making apps for investors, advisors and brands, has raised a Series A round of $6.25M from undisclosed investors. The company has raised $10.25M to date.
Lighthouse.io, the platform that lets you interact with frontline workers and assets, has raised a Seed round of $1.25M from Morningside Technology Ventures and Tamarisc. This is the company’s first round.
Dropel Fabrics, the company developing lifeproof clothing, has raised an Angel round of funding from Alex Moore and Gaetan Bonhomme. This is the company’s second round of funding.
Wochit, the branded video platform, has raised an undisclosed amount from PA Group for the company’s fourth round. Ran Oz and Dror Ginzberg had raised $28M prior to this round.
Collibra, automating data management, has raised $50M in Series C led by Iconiq Capital with corroboration from Newion Investments, Dawn Capital, Index Ventures and Battery Ventures.
Process Street, the workflow automation service, has raised $1.3M in Seed funding from AirTree Ventures and Blackbird Ventures. The company has raised 2 rounds to date.
LMRKTS, the company providing multi lateral and dimensional portfolio compression, has raised a undisclosed round of Venture funding from Motive Partners. This is the company’s first round of funding.
The Players’ Tribune, the platform that presents the voices of professional athletes, has raised $40M in Series C funding led by IVP (Institutional Venture Partners) with participation from Bryant Stibel Investments, GV and New Enterprise Associates. Derek Jeter’s company has raised $58M over 4 rounds.
Fabric, the life insurance company, has raised $2.5M in a new round led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Red Sea Ventures , Box Group, Brainchild, Maveron and RGAx. This is the company’s first round of funding.
