Kit, the startup connecting people who love the same products, has raised $2.5M in seed funding from Black Angel Tech Fund, Authentic Ventures, Expa, Ellen Pao, April Underwood, Precursor Ventures and Social Capital. The company, that started from Expa, has raised their first round.
Siemplify, the enterprise secops platform, raised $10M in Venture funding led by G20 Ventures and 83North with participation from Alex Daly and Dave Strohm. The startup has raised $14M over two rounds.
In August we reported that Boldstart Ventures had closed $21M in funding for its first close for its third fund. The firm headed by Ed Sim and Eliot Durbin has closed the third fund with $47M in committments. The firm has invested in a number of seed deals in the enterprise space including investments in Emissary, Indiegogo, and Rapportive.
xAd, the proximity marketing company, has raised $42.5M in Series E funding led by Eminence Capital LLC, with support from Emergence Capital Partners, IVP (Institutional Venture Partners) and W Capital Partners. The company has now raised $116M over 6 rounds.
EastMeetEast, the Asian-American dating site, has raised $1M in Venture funding from Shintaro Yamada, iSGS Investment Works, DeNA, East Ventures and 500 Startups. Founders Kenn Ejima and Mariko Tokioka have now raised their third round.
Scroll, the company providing ad free content, has raised $3M in a round of Seed funding from New York Times, News Corp, SoftTech VC, OATV and Axel Springer for the company’s first round. To date the company has yet to launch.
BoardVitals, the medical education company focused on helping physicians with board exams has been acquired by Ascend Learning. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Owkin, the A.I biotech company helping with prediction modeling, has raised $2.1M in Seed funding from Jean-Paul Clozel, Brent Hoberman, Jorg Mohaupt and Nicole Junkermann. This is the company’s first round of funding.
Hyperverse, the company providing an immersive VR experience, has raised a Convertible Note round of $400K. Founders Roman Mikailov, Arsen Avdalyan have raised their second round and $530K.
EpiBone, the company that can grow you a bone, has raised $560K in a Convertible Note round from Plum Alley.
Seaters, the company making sure seats are occupied at sporting and music events, has raised $3M in an undisclosed round of funding led by Chris Burggraeve and Michel Akkermans. The company has raised $8M over 3 rounds.
CoverWallet, the insurance management startup, has raised $7.8M in Series A funding from Index Ventures and Union Square Ventures. This is the first round for the company.
Infor, the enterprise software company, raised a whopping $2.5B from Koch Equity Development in a round of private equity. This is the third round for the company that has acquired 15 other companies.
Kang Health, the user generated medical diagnosis platform, has raised $3.3M in a Seed round led by Mangrove Capital Partners with participation from Adam Singolda, Primary Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Comcast Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company has not launched, despite the impressive round.
Scienaptic, the data analytics firm, has raised a Seed round of an undisclosed amount from investor Pramod Bhasin. Founder and CEO Pankaj Kulshreshtha has raised his first round of funding.
LiftForward Inc., the small business loaners, have raised $100M in a Debt Financing round from Monroe Capital. The company has raised $365M over their 6 rounds.
Electric, the company that is keeping your business running smooth at all times, has raised $2M in Seed funding from Charge Ventures, Gunderson Dettmer, Primary Venture Partners, Bowery Capital. Founder Ryan Denehy has raised his first round for the company.
T-REX, the enterprise SaaS platform, have raised $10M in Series B funding led by Safeguard Scientifics with help from Ecosystem Integrity Fund. This marks the company’s first round.
Opportunity, the professional discovery network, has raised $250K in a Seed round of funding for the company’s second round overall.
