FilmRise, the film and TV distributor, has raised $27M in a Venture round from Harlan Capital Partners. Founder Alan Klingenstein has raised $52M over just 2 rounds.
Compound, formerly known as Metamorphic Ventures has announced a rebranding as well as the closing of a new $50M fund. The firm’s portfolio includes 125 investments in 90+ companies including exited companies like Songza, Chango, Tapad, and OfferIQ.
Paperspace, the computer in a web browser, has raised $4M in Seed funding from Jeff Carr, Initialized Capital, Data Collective and Ludlow Ventures for the company’s 6th round of funding. The founders, Daniel Kobran and Dillon Erb, have now raised nearly $11.5M.
Slice Labs, the on-demand insurance company, has raised a Venture round of an undisclosed amount from Munich Re / HSB Ventures. Founders Stuart Baserman and Tim Attia have raised 2 rounds to date.
Chatally, the software company to help luxury ecommerce business has raised a Convertible Note round from undisclosed investors. This is the first round for the company.
Octane Lending, the company offering POS insurance for niche markets, has raised an undisclosed amount in a Series A round of funding. Berenson Company and IA Ventures led the round for the company’s fifth round of funding.
Pager, the company offering medical house visits, has raised $5.2M in a Round of Venture funding. The company has raised $29.6M in 4 rounds.
Vestivise, the company concerned with financial knowledge, has raised $300K in Seed funding for the company’s second round.
Vengo Labs, the media company collecting data, has raised a Venture round of funding from Grace Beauty Capital. The company has raised $5M in 4 rounds.
Ollie, the all-natural pet food company, has raised a $4.4M Venture round of funding led by Lerer Hippeau Ventures and Primary Venture Partners with participation from WME Ventures and Canaan Partners.
Payoneer, the company helping you make international payments, has raised $180M for their second Series E funding, this one led by TCV with participation from Susquehanna Growth Equity. The company has raised $270M over 11 rounds.
Wine n Dine, the meal discovery social platform, has raised $2.5M in Seed Funding led by Jordache Ventures, Melo7 Tech Partners LLC, and Chetrit Group. Founders Adam Cooper and Joshua Stern have raised their first round.
Botfactory, the developing the electronic circuit printer, has raised $1.3M in Series A funding from New York Angels. The company raised $1.3M just a month ago for a total of $2.6M over the 2 rounds.
Code Climate, the customer service developer tool, has raised $4.5M in Series A funding led by Union Square Ventures with participation from Fuel Capital, Trinity Ventures, Lerer Hippeau Ventures and NextView Ventures. Bryan Helmkamp’s company has raised $6.5M over 2 rounds.
Goby, the subscription electric toothbrush service, has raised a Seed round of $2M from Rosecliff Ventures, BBG Ventures, Galvanize, Correlation Ventures, Red Sea Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. This is the company’s first round of funding.
Madefire, the company reimagining storytelling, has raised $6.5M in Series B funding led by Plus Capital Anthem Ventures, Big Loud Capital, True Ventures, Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Framestore and Kevin Spacey. Founder Ben Wolstenholme has raised $16.4M over 4 rounds.
Paribus, the automatic refund service, has been acquired by Capital One for an undisclosed amount. The New York Startup had raised $2.2M over 2 rounds prior to the acquisition.
