Arbor, the company that is operating people based data, has raised $6.5M in Series A funding led by Canaan Partners with participation from Great Oaks Venture Capital and First Round. The company has raised $9M in 2 rounds.
CTERA Networks, enabling enterprises to manage files over the cloud, has raised $25M In Series C funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Vintage Investment Partners and Cisco. Founders Zohar Kaufman and Liran Eshel’s company has raised 4 rounds totaling $70M.
Defy Media, the millennial-focused media company has raised a Series B round of $70M from Wellington Management.
Business Talent Group, the company creating innovative solutions to business issues, has raised $8M in Series B funding led by Nextequity Partners with support from Bradley Family Trust and Ted Meisel.
Datorama, the big data management platform has raised $32M in Series C funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Innovation Endeavors and Marker LLC. The founders Efi Cohen, Katrin Ribant and Ran Sarig, have raised a total of $50M over just 3 rounds.
Frame.io, the business oriented video sharing platform, has raised $10M in Series A funding led by Accel Partners with further participation from FoundersGuild, Kevin Spacey, Jared Leto, Shasta Ventures, FirstMark Capital and SignalFire. This is the company’s second round of funding to date.
Drone League Racing, the company combining e-sports and VR, has raised a $1M Venture round of funding from Sky. This is the young company’s first round of funding.
Congrats to Caitlin Strandberg who joins our friends at Firstmark Capital as a Senior Associate. Caitlin was previously at Flybridge Capital Partners prior to completing her MBA at HBS. Earlier in her career, Caitlin held roles at Behance and LearnVest.
Ellevest, the company redefining investing for women, has raised $10M in Series A funding led by Morningstar with participation from Mohamed El-Erian, Contour Venture Partners, Andrea Jung, Ajay Banga, and Astia Angels. For founders Sallie Krawcheck and Charlie Kroll, this is the company’s first round of funding.
Congrats to our friend Nisa Amoils, who joins Scout Ventures as their newest venture partner. “Nisa’s deep domain expertise in digital media, marketplaces and frontier tech, makes her the perfect addition to our team at Scout Ventures,” said Brad Harrison, Managing Partner at Scout Ventures.
FanDuel, the daily fantasy sports platform, has raised a $55M Convertible Note from undisclosed investors. The company has raised $416M over their 7 rounds of funding.
Unified, the company connecting marketing data sets with investments, has raised $10M in a Debt Financing round from Wellington Financial. The company has now raised $64M over 4 rounds.
