Zalmi Duchman, CEO of The Fresh Diet, explains how his initially bootstrapped business harnessed the power of free online tools and equity partners to build success. Without the money to pay top talent, Duchman followed these two pieces of advice to achieve growth:
- Use free tools, such as social media, to generate PR and get customers in the door. There are inexpensive ways to get the word out there.
- Bring on technology-focused equity partners. As long as you make sure they are bringing what they promised to the table, equity partners can be an invaluable resource.
