StockTwits, the real-time financial communications platform, has raised $6.4M in Series A funding from lead investor Social Leverage with participation from True Ventures. This is the company’s 8th round of funding with $13.9M in funding received.

 


We took a look at the 10 largest startup financings during the month of June in NYC this week – These are the 10 NYC Startups That Raised the Most Amount of Capital in June

Delos, the company improving the human health in the built environment, has raised $2oM in a Venture round of funding. This round comes after a $100M+ round last October. Founder Paul Scialla has raised $128M over the 2 rounds.

 


We took a look at the funding landscape during the month of June nationally and in NYC for all startup rounds – The June 2016 NYC Venture Capital and Angel Funding Report

Bungzie, the big discount ecommerce site, has raised $300K in Angel funding for the company’s second round of funding.

 


The end of June also marked the end of the 2nd quarter of 2016.  We took a look at the historical funding landscape on a quarterly basis for startups to get an idea of how the last quarter compared – The 2016 Q2 NYC and US Startup Funding Report

Force Therapeutics, the startup helping with the delivery of injury rehabilitation, has raised a $2.5M Venture round. This is the second round from founder Bronwyn Spira who has raised $4.7M to date

 


We also took a look at the largest funding rounds in June nationally – These are the 10 US Startups That Raised the Most Amount of Capital in June

Payfone, the leader in secure mobile authentication, has raised $2.66M in Seed funding for the company’s fifth round of funding. Despite just raising their Seed round, they have have raised $42.66M to date.
