Today, I take a look at the 10 companies that have raised the largest startup funding rounds in the US this year using some data from our friends at Crunchbase (as of 7/1/16). In addition to dollar amount, I have included industry, round, investors in the round, and total capital raised to further the analysis. Lastly, in order to maintain a focus on conventional tech startups, pharmaceutical and biotech companies were removed from the data as well as the recent real estate and banking financings. This list only contains venture financings and does not include private equity and debt rounds.
