Are you a creator but unsatisfied with your marketing team? Good news, now you can do it yourself. CoPromote, the social marketing hub for creators has already hit 800,000+ creators and is looking to make an impact on how creators get noticed.

With already a Series A under their belt, CEO Mike More tells about his young days as a creator and about the company that is reaching 50 million people daily.

Tell us about the product or service.

We make social marketing easy for content creators.

How is it different?

We are 100% focused on creator self-serve marketing. Creators can easily create great content, distribute and monetize content. Creators’ biggest remaining challenge is marketing.

What market are you attacking and how big is it?

There are over 300 million monthly active creators web – YouTubers, Viners, Instagrammers.

What is the business model?

We have a freemium model. Creators can purchase a pro level of service, which enables them to market faster and better.

What inspired you to start this business?

I was – and still am – a creator.  My biggest pain point was that after I invested in creating the best content, I had to hand over the marketing to a third party company who often would drop the ball.  I needed a tool to market my content.

What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?

We help over 800,000 creators reach over 50 million new people daily. We are growing at over 300% per month. We will continue to remove the friction for creator marketing.

If you could be put in touch with one investor in the New York community who would it be and why?

Ben Horowitz.  Ben is league of his own as a former owner/operator. He gets it. That said we love FFVC, our current investors. FFVC are the best VC fund in NYC. They continue to be key to growing our business.

Why did you launch in New York?

It is the best place to start a tech company it has the best people on the planet.

What is your favorite fall activity in NYC?

The Thanksgiving day parade.
