Transfix, the online shipping truck shipping platform, has raised $12M Series A round led by Canvas Ventures with help from Expansion Venture Capital, Bowery Capital, Founder Collective, and Lerer Hippeau Ventures.

 


, the digital media company devoted to animals has raised a Series B round of $11.5M led by Softbank with support from David Stern, Greycroft Partners, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Berggruen Holdings, and SBNY.

 


, a part of the bigger TSG company, has raised $235M in a Private Equity from BONA FILM GROUP. This is the company’s first round of funding.

 


, the children interactive storytelling app, has raised a $2.5M Seed round by Melo7 Tech Partners, Quotidian Ventures, Joanne Wilson, Liberty City Ventures, Scout Ventures, SV Angel, Great Oaks Venture Capital, SparkLabs Global Ventures, Technicolor Ventures, Vayner/RSE, and Rothenberg Ventures.

 


, the fintech intelligence subscription has raised non-equity assistance round of $25K. This is founder Matthew Kaufman’s first round of funding.

 


, the learning management system, has raised $32M in a Series D round led by JMI Equity. Other investors included Great Oaks Venture Capital, Great Road Holdings, Intel Capital, and FirstMark Capital.

 


, the multi-gym membership, has announced a Series C round of $30M from Google Ventures. Founders Payal Kadakia and Mary Biggins have raised a total $84M.

 


has announced a Seed round of $1.35M led by ff Venture Capital with help from Mistral Venture Partners. CEO Steve Cody has raised $2.1M over 2 rounds.

 


, the social network for social causes, has raised a Series A round from undisclosed investors. This is Jumo’s second round of funding.

 


, the innovative wedding industry, has raised $10M in a Series B round by Thrive Capital, AOL Inc., BBG Ventures, Female Founders Fund and Forerunner Ventures.
