Our friends at CrunchBase released a new offering on the site recently called the Investor LeaderBoard. I took the time to scour through the functionality to isolate the most active New York City venture capital firms that are investing in the largest number of deals (this analysis is not based on dollar amounts) across all stages of the venture cycle. Hopefully, as you seek out your next round, this will be a handy guide to know where the dollars are pouring in from in the NYC ecosystem. Included for each firm is the number of investments made in 2015 YTD, total number of historic investments and the number of companies invested in, total funds raised, number of exits, and the companies that the venture firms have invested in this year.

Author’s note – this data is current as of 9/30/15 and the analysis runs from 1/1/15-9/30/15. This data does not include investments made by the investment bank Goldman Sachs nor does include the investments made by NYC accelerator programs. It does however, include one individual who has made a significant number of investments.
