Sweeten, the renovation matchmaker, has raised $3.5M Series A round led by Navitas Capital with help from Gotham Gal Ventures and Overnight Capital. This brings CEO Jean Brownhill Lauer’s company to $7.32M in total.
BentoBox, the company that is bringing restaurants to the Internet, has announced a Seed round of $1.2M led by Armory Square Ventures, joined by Ben Leventhal and Camilla Marcus Siegel.
Blackstone LaunchPad, the global campus entrepreneurship program announced it is launching in 5 New York State universities including New York University. The LaunchPad is backed by the Blackstone Charitable Foundation and will be providing $4.5 million in grant funding to the universities over 3 years.
Conversocial, the customer service cloud manager, has raised $11M in a Series B round of funding led by Dawn Capital, Draper Esprit and Octopus Ventures. Joshua March and Dan Lester have now raised $23.96M for the company.
Curacity, the marketing holding company focused on travel booking and content, has acquired WantMeGetMe for an undisclosed amount. CEO Michael Keriakos has also raised a $2.2M Seed round of funding led by Greycroft Partners.
Mouth Foods, the online and physical indie food company, has just raised $5.5M in a Series A round led by KarpReilly with help from Jason Calacanis and Vocap Investment Partners. Founder Craig Kanarick has raised 5 rounds of funding so far.
Kinvolved, the app that connects students with families, has raised $405K in a Debt Financing. This is the founders, Miriam Altman and Alex Meis’, first round.
Squad, the social app that connects you with squads, has raised $1.7M in a Seed round by First Round and Lerer Hippeau Ventures. This is Adam Liebman’s first round of funding.
Worthy, the used luxury items marketplace, has raised a Series B round of $8M led by Carmel Ventures, with help from Eddy Shalev and Meir Barel.
