, an online resource for contemporary art collecting and education, has raised $25 million in Series C funding led by private equity firm Catterton, with participation from earlier investors Thrive Capital and IDG Capital.
, a cloud-based solution that offers insights, automated management and enterprise security applications, has raised $25 million in Series D funding. The round was led by Accel Partners, with participation from earlier investors Flybridge Capital, Greycroft Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, New Amsterdam Capital, and Millennium Technology Value Partners.
Amplience, a SaaS-basedcontent marketing platform that enables non-technical marketing teams to produce digital campaign and product media, has raised $10.5 million in Series B funding. The round was led by previous investorOctopus Investments, with participation from Northstar Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.
Vimbly, the platform that gives users a quick and easy way to book thousands of activities, classes and date ideas, has partnered with Yelp, crowd-sourced reviewing giant, to make booking activities even easier.
The new partnership will that mean can expect the same convenient bookability, best price guarantee, and speedy Vimbly customer service that you’re used to – and you will be able to click a big red button to book directly from Yelp into the time slot you want.
Vimbly is Yelp’s first official partner for active life vendors.
Cadre, a real estate startup that aims to connect institutional investors with opportunities in gateway markets, has raised $18.3 million in Series A funding from Thrive Capital and General Catalyst Partners.
The company was founded by Jared and Joshua Kushner. Joshua Kushner also happens to be the founder of Thrive Capital.
Additional investors are among some of New York real estate’s biggest players, including former Vornado Realty Trust CEO Michael Fascitelli, Island Capital Group’s Andrew Farkas, and SL Green Realty, the city’s largest commercial landlord.
LearnVest, online financial-planning services company, has been acquired by the 160-year-old insurance company Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. for undisclosed terms.
Northwest Mutual was among the company’s investors.
SecurityScorecard, a security risk assessment service for cloud-based information systems, has raised $12.5 million in Series A funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, with participation from earlier backers BOLDStart Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners.
Keywee, who analyzes marketing content and finds qualified audiences for it, delivering the concrete, measurable success that brands and publishers want and need to optimize the ROI of their content marketing initiatives, has raised $9.1 million in Series A funding led by Innovation Endeavors and Marker, with participation from The New York Times Company and UpWest Labs.
On-demand wine, spirits, beer and mixersdelivery service Minibar has acquired competitor, Booze Carriage.
Both companies are New York-based. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Slidejoy, an Android application that pays users daily for having relevant articles, deals and ads displayed on their lockscreens, has raised $1.2 million from angel investors.
The names of the investors were not disclosed.

Zazoom Media Group, parent company of the highly successful web, mobile and connected TV video brand Buzz60, has named Helen Jonsen as its new General Manager of Zazoom Studios.
Jonsen will oversee production of more than 400 video episodes per month in multiple languages,with over 50 million total monthly views. Production includes both ZMG owned-and-operated brandsas well as custom/on-demand content for a growing roster of clients.
Jonsen joins ZMG from Touchstorm, LLC where she was the Vice President of Content and Editor-in-Chief,who successfully re-imagined the Howdini brand.
