The Center for Management & Organization Effectiveness (CMOE) published an infographic that breaks down the average leader’s day, and here’s the drill. Leaders wake up at around six, exercise, get ready, and commute to work within two hours. After getting settled at the office, leaders strategize, attend meetings, organize tasks and projects, participate in conference calls, and communicate goals with their team.
All in all, a leader’s day is dedicated mostly to setting company goals assigning tasks and projects to team members to achieve the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. Outside of work, leaders spend about eight hours a week with friends and family, and they spend approximately thirty minutes every day on personal development.
