While you offer a platform for mobile apps, do you have any tips on user acquisition strategy for mobile?
The best tip we can provide is: make sure you are on mobile! Build your mobile strategy wisely, and identify where it is that your customers are looking for you (mobile-web/ downloadable apps, Smartphones / tablets/ SmartTv – probably everywhere:-) and make sure you are ready for them, where ever they are.
In addition:
- Be consistent. Keep a consistent multi-channel experience. Don’t make your users learn new browsing experience from every different channel. They won’t do it – and you will lose them;
- Don’t exhaust yourself with device and channels compatibility. Find the right solution / platform to take those concerns off your shoulders in the short and long term
- Try to understand what your customers are looking for when looking for you on mobile – keep that thought in mind all along;
What are the milestones that you plan to achieve within six months?
Zuznow HQ is moving to NY in October 2014 in order to increase sales and its brand-name in the US market. Zuznow’s plans for the next six months include targeting 5-6 reference clients (from finance and publishers segments) and leveraging Zuznow’s online marketing and sales strategy.
If you could be put in touch with one investor in the New York community who would it be and why?
This is quite simple – Fred Wilson and Union Square Ventures. I follow Fred’s blogs and enjoy his in-depth analysis and view about investments. He is a web expert, and I believe that he would find Zuznow technology highly disruptive. When looking for investors, we focus on people who will have added value (on top of their financial investment). If Fred becomes an investor, I know there is a lot we can learn from him and implement for the benefit of Zuznow growth.
Why are you expanding to New York?
Many of our potential clients are based in NY (finance, insurance, publishers) and it is relatively close to other areas, such as Washington and Boston. In addition, we are currently trying to apply to the Startup NY program, which offers great R&D as well as financial benefits for new companies.
And – this goes without saying of course – NY is the best city in the whole worldJ
Which tourist-y activity are you most excited about doing when in New York?
If I get to it… I really hope I will be able to explore some of NY amazing art museums and galleries. Other than that, even walking the streets of NY will be a great feeling!
