A New York VC Spotlight: Caterina Fake

Caterina Fake has a knack for social technology. She Co-founded Hunch.com, a web application that is building a “taste graph” of the internet which has been acquired by Ebay; Founded and is the CEO of Findery an app that leaves notes which can be things like stories or testimonials, around the world; Co-founded Flickr, the ever popular photo sharing site; and is a Founder Partner at the Founders Collective. Fake has invested in Etsy, the popular handicraft site and has also invested in Zipongo, a digital health company that focuses on healthy eating through their app that offers recipes and discounts, to name a few.

Fake currently sits on the Boards of Etsy and Creative Commons. She received her Bachelors of Art in English Literature from Vassar College.
