Prior to all of her current activities, Tate worked at Cargill Inc in Overseas Business Development. She has also been a private investor since 2006, investing in companies such as Jamhub LLC, Medivo, Offermobi and Human Demand, to name a few. She serves on the Board of Directors of The RvD Innovation and Disruptive Entrepreneurship Accelerator (IDEA), a company that works with student entrepreneurs to start new ventures that provide economic growth for Central New York.
