Moat, the search engine for display ads, has raised $50M in Series C funding from Insight Venture Partners. This is the company’s fourt round of funding, totaling $67.5M funding since its founding 2010.
Tinkergarten, the early childhood education in local green spaces, has raised a Seed round of $1.6M. The funding was led by Omidyar Network and joined by Albert Lee, Fern Mandelbaum, Matt Glickman, Don Katz, John Katzman, Structure Capital, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Outbound Ventures, 500 Startups, City Light Capital and Blue {Seed} Collective.
Bandintown, the platform that connects fans and artists, has partnered with Ticketmaster to offer in app sales of tickets within the Bandsintown app. Bandsintown, a graduate of Techstars NYC claims that they currently drive 7 million leads a month to primary ticket sites.
SevenFifty Technologies, the company that is connecting the beverage industry with vendors, has raised $8.76M in a Venture round for the company’s second round of funding in the last 4 months.
Oculogica, the eye-tracking neurodiagnostics company, has announced a $1.7M Venture round. The company works primarily with identifying concussions and now has $2.3M over 2 rounds.
Rent the Runway has announced that they are offering an unlimited subscription service for rentals for their wardrobe service. This new functionality adds to its model of renting out designer wear for special occasions to women by now allowing everyday wardrobes and weekend wear to be easily rented for $139 a month. “With Unlimited, we are putting the closet in the cloud and allowing women to experience and cycle through thousands of designer looks for their everyday work and weekend wear,” said Rent the Runway CEO Jennifer Hyman.
Helbiz, the car-sharing marketplace, announced a Series A round of funding at an unknown amount. Founder Salvatore Palella has successfully raised the second round of funding for the company.
Provista Diagnostics, the company developing tests for oncology-related diseases, has raised a Venture round of $5.1M. To date the biotech company has raised $34.52M over 7 rounds since its founding in 2007.
Munch Ado, the go-to resource for finding food, has raised a $10M Venture for the company’s second round since its founding in 2012. The platform lets you search, make reservations and order all from one platform and characterizes itself as “hanger management”.
Ceros, the interactive content marketing platform, has announced that it has released its first standalone SDK which will allows brands to customize Ceros content. “With the SDK, our users can create super sophisticated, awesome experiences. They can also seamlessly pass data between Ceros and other systems to gain deeper insights into their audiences,” said Matt Wellschlager, VP of Marketing, Ceros.
Syntimmune, the leading researchers in neonatal FcRN, has announced a funding of $26M in a Series A round. The investment was led by Apple Tree Partners and Baxalta Venture and recieved further support from Partners Innovation Fund.
Lover.ly, the go to for wedding advice and trends, has raised their Series B round of $2M led by Covera Ventures and additional funding from GrowthX, Female Founders Fund, Great Oaks Venture Capital, 645 Ventures, Montage Ventures and Transmedia Capital. The cofounders, sisters Kellee and Leila Khalil have raised nearly $7M over 6 rounds since the company’s founding in 2012 .
The wellness company, Genoplan, has raised a $4.2M Venture for their first round of funding. The healthcare company takes into account your genes and current health for a personal plan for optimizing wellbeing.
Zeel, the on-demand massage company, raised $10M in Series A funding led by Emil Capital Partners with support from Spafinder® Wellness, Inc., New Atlantic Ventures, Partech Ventures, and Slow Ventures. Founder Samer Hamadeh’s company has brought in $13.2M over 4 rounds since its founding in 2010.
LifeBEAM, the sensor company powering the wearable tech industry, has announced a Series A round of $16M led by Square Peg Capital with help from TriVentures, Atomics 14 Ventures, Cerca Partners, and Wellborn Ventures. The company founded by Zvika Orron and Omri Yoffe has now raised $18.7M in capital since its founding in 2010.
Hive, the all in one platform for team-communication, has raised a Seed round of $1.4M led by Tribeca Venture Partners with help from Google and Grey Group. The company launched just 10 months ago.
